SPRING BREAK/EASTER WEEKEND

On Thursday, we took the gang and went to visit Grandma Helen! The kids were so excited to visit each other and meet Cari for lunch that I had to be quick to catch them sitting still.
Grandma Helen really had her hands full trying to keep a hold on Mason. He weighs almost as much as she does!!
Mason has a slightly round bum but can sit up for a few seconds on his own! He turned five months on the 26th of March!!!
Here we are on the Friday before Easter!!! As I recall, last year we had a snow storm on the third of April!
On Saturday, the gang came over for our annual egg hunt and meal. As you can see, we had some yummy ribs!!!
Erin was the victim of her crazy uncles! We really did have ribs that were soooo good with all the extras to go with...
The BIG (?) kids messing around on the tramp!
I don't think we will ever get rid of the tramp!
WOW! We have a great bunch of grandkids!! In the back is Emma, Kailee holding Mason, Atley is covering her eyes, Erin, Bree, Alexa holding Bryson. Front row is Josh, Bryn and Gauge!
Love this shot of all the moms...smile!
We moved into the shade so the kids didn't have to squint and took this cute photo. Yes, this is the same backyard that was covered with snow yesterday! I am so glad that it warmed up so the white stuff was gone and we could have some fun!
After lunch, we had the giant egg hunt...Devin held Erin up high to reach an egg!
Gauge did alright..even found a golden dollar!
Searching through all the eggs to find more golden dollars...they all found at least one. There were so many eggs and lots of candy all over the backyard! I'm sure that sugar will play a part in the rest of the day.
Poor Joel...got up early and worked in the garden and had stayed up late playing video games so after all the fun, he just crashed! Did Paul let him sleep? Ha, what do you think?! We really had a great afternoon. Wonder what the Easter Bunny has in store for tomorrow?!

MARCH MADNESS?

Stupid wind! The wind picked up our swing and just threw it into my car!!!
Fortunately, the insurance paid to get it fixed. Bill quickly got it into the repair shop and now it is as good as new but it still makes me mad that it even happened!
March starts our birthday year! Brynlee turned THREE on March 8th! She wanted a Panda cake so her mommy made this cute cake for her.
Emma turned 11 on the 14th! She has decided she doesn't like her smile and won't show her teeth when her picture is taken! We went shopping for flip flops, of course, on her birthday!
Brynlee got a tent so Gauge showed her how it works.
A
Gauge was a really good helper when it came to opening the gifts

Smile...its your birday!!!
The two cute birthday girls
Erin and Bryn had a play day at Grama B's and made their own pizzas! So much fun we will have to do it again. Scott's went shopping and the Johnson's went clogging.
Grama with her hands full!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Happy Valentine's Day! Bill gave me chocolates and pearls this year! I really didn't expect anything because he had planned a really nice dinner with crab and lobster and in my book that was plenty!

On Sunday the twelfth we had our family dinner! Bryson really liked the cookies but I think he liked the icing more!

Lex and Kailee are the best at letting me take their pictures! They had fun laying on the bed in the dark looking at the glowing stickers on the ceiling...I think Paul put them up.

Once again Josh was on the move when I pointed the camera at him...love that long hair.

Gauge actually posed for this shot. He had a roll and some ham and all the pickled beets he wanted! He had fun playing trains on Grampa's new Thomas table.

Bryson didn't feel all that good but he sure likes his Grampa! His cheeks were all red and he didn't want anything to do with me.

Normally this would be me giving Mace a little treat but this is his mommy doing the deed! He didn't really eat a cookie...just cream from his main source! He is three months old and must weigh 17 pounds! He is so happy and a breeze to tend.

Alisha had her arms full with these two babies! Mason was born October 26 and Bryson was one on October 20!!!

Attie was quick to hold Mason! With twenty of us standing in line, your time was limited! Lex has a real knack when it comes to babies...she held him and he went right to sleep. He was very patient when others held him...never cried and loved the attention. I think I held him for five minutes just before they left!

We had a good day. Ham and yummy spuds, hot rolls and salads, deviled eggs and last but not least, the best sugar cookies with tons of icing! The second Sunday is always the best...all were here except Cari and she was in the air on her way home from a well deserved vacation!!!
