HAPPY ANNIVERSARY/PINEWOOD DERBY

Beautiful roses to celebrate our wedding day!  How many years you ask?
43 YEARS!!!

They only got prettier as they opened

We went to St George for a few days and did some things we hadn't ever done like visit the petroglyphs just outside of town

I was fascinated by the fact that the drawings were just off the trail.  No hiking involved which made me happy.

Really liked this sun image.  We looked up what the drawings meant when we got home and found out that the majority meant nothing and were just doodles.  There were images of bears and deer and an animal with antlers that was probably an early version of an elk

This is the rubble that was once a house in the town of Rockville.  This was in the news when several huge boulders fell from the cliffs above the house and killed two people inside.  I should have had Bill stand by the fence so you could get a perspective.  The boulders were at least six to eight feet high and as big as a house and several fell crushing the home.  There are houses on both sides that are empty but the next two houses were occupied!! Talk about living on the edge!!!

There was a pinewood derby in January that Bill entered.  He built a replica of his Mini and raced with it.

Looked really cool but didn't go very far...
